 1. Carefully read each situation in the Assertiveness Questionnaire.  Make sure you look new words up in the dictionary.  Ask your teacher for guidance in case you do not clearly understand any of the options given for each question.

 2. Complete the questionnaire.  When you finish it (not before or while you are working on it) follow the instructions given in the SCORING SYSTEM to find out the style of communication you use the most.

 3. On a separate piece of paper, make a written report about the result of your questionnaire.  Respond thoroughly to these questions:

§  Based on your questionnaire answers, what is the style of communication you use the most?  Do you agree with it?

§  Which giveaway signs of that style of communication do you feel identified with?

§  What negative consequences does that stye of communication have?

§  Should you avoid that style of communication? Why? or Why not?

 4. Once you have finished your written report, read it out loud. Use a digital device to record your voice.  Send your recording to ctpss.english@gmail.com
